    Fatiha Karam, MSc

Degree : PhD degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences
Year : 2007 - In progress

Fatiha holds a bachelor's degree (D.E.U.G) in Biology, a license in Cellular Biology and Physiology, and a master of science from the Université de Bordeaux I-II in France. She started her training in basic research and is now in the field of clinical research. Fatiha joined Dr. Bérard's research team in May 2007 and stands as the research coordinator of one of her research projects: A North American field study on antidepressants. Miss Karam also started her PhD program in Pharmaceutical Sciences with option in pharmacoepidemiology under the supervision of Dr. Bérard.

    Fabiano Santos, MSc

Degree : PhD degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences
Year : 2007 - In progress

Fabiano Santos holds a bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences with a specialization in clinical biochemistry from the Paraiba State University in Brazil, and a master's degree in Pharmacology and pharmacochemistry of bioactive synthetic and natural products from the Paraiba State University in Brazil. Also in Brazil he has worked as associate professor in biochemistry and pharmacology. In 2007, he started his PhD degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences with option in pharmacoepidemiology at the Université de Montréal under the supervision of Dr. Anick Bérard.

    Anaïs Lacasse, BSc

Degree : PhD degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences
Year : 2004 - 2008

Anaïs holds a bachelor's degree in Biology with option in toxicology and environmental health from the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM). Subsequently, Anaïs started a master's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences with option in pharmacoepidemiology at the Université de Montréal. After a year, she made a direct transfer to the PhD program in the same field. Anaïs is now completing her doctoral studies under Dr. Anick Bérard's supervision. Passionate about research, she will soon begin a postdoctoral fellowship in Clinical Research at the Université de Sherbrooke.

Élodie Ramos holds a bachelor's degree (D.E.U.G) in Sciences and a license in Physics from the Université du Sud in France, and a master's degree in Pharmacology from the Université de Montréal. Élodie is completing her doctoral studies under the supervision of Dr. Anick Bérard. She is currently associate manager at Pfizer Canada in the department of Outcomes Research.

    Laurent Azoulay, PhD

Degree : Doctorat en Sciences pharmaceutiques Year : 2003 - 2007

Dr. Azoulay holds a bachelor's degree in Physiology from McGill University and obtained a master's degree in Biomedical Sciences from the Université de Montréal in 2003. In 2007, he joined Dr. Anick Bérard's research team and completed his doctoral studies in Pharmaceutical sciences. Laurent is presently conducting postdoctoral work at McGill University Health Centre.
