Alexandrine Pelletier , B Sc Psychology. Research Assistant

Year : 2009 - 2010

Alexandrine Pelletier holds a bachelor's degree in Psychology and a certificate in Drug addiction: prevention and rehabilitation from the Université de Montréal. She joined the the Dr. Bérard's team in summer 2009. She is in charge of a new research project about folic acid intake during the pregnancy, which should soon begin. She also contributes to many aspects of the study on the effect of the use of antidepressants by pregnant women.

Odile Sheehy, MSc Statistician. Research Coordinator

Year : 2009 -

Odile Sheehy holds a bachelor's degree in Mathematics and a master's degree in Statistics from the Université du Québec à Montréal. She then worked nearly 6 years in the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at McGill University where she gained expertise in both areas. Thereafter, she worked as a senior biostatistician at "Phoenix  International" where she oversaw the submissions to the FDA. She joined the team of Dr Jacques LeLorier in 1998 as biostatistician and research coordoninator where she realized numerous studies in pharmacoeconomics and pharmcoepidemiology for over 10 years. She had also, during its many years, acquired an excellente expertise on the administrative databases in Quebec and Canada. Odile joined the team or Dr. Bérard in January 2009.

Marie-Claude Huneau , B Sc Medical Biology. Research Assistant

Year : 2008 -

Marie-Claude Huneau holds a bachelor's degree in medical biology from the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières.  She gained expertise in basic research and laboratory techniques at the Jewish General Hospital for nearly 9 years.  She worked in different laboratories studying diabetes, breast cancer and colon cancer, and she managed a bank of clinical and experimental data related to blood and tissue samples (normal and tumor) of the breast.  She joined Dr. Bérard's team in Novembrer 2008 where she now contributes to various aspects of the project on the use of antidepressants during pregnancy.

Driss Oraichi, PhD, Statistician

Year : 2003 - 2008

Dr. Oraichi holds a bachelor's degree in Mathematics from the Université Hassan II in Morocco and a master's degree in Mathematics from the Université de Genève in Swiss. He continued his education with a PhD in Mathematics from the Université du Québec à Montréal. In 2003, Dr. Oraichi joined Dr. Anick Bérard's research team. Expert in biostatistics, he has brought valuable experience in statistical analysis to the majority of the research projects conducted in our team. Dr. Oraichi has no equal regarding data analysis of large administrative databases.



Nadia Ceccotti, Research Coordinator

Year : 2006 - 2007

Nadia Ceccotti holds a bachelor's degree in History from the Université Paris-I- Sorbonne and graduated from the HEC School of Management in Paris. After working for two years as a product manager in an academic publishing company in Paris she moved to the United States where she taught French as a second language to college students for several years. She also obtained a master's degree of Education from Harvard Graduate School of Education. She joined Dr. Bérard's research team in 2006, and stood as the research coordinator of one of her research projects : A North American field study on antidepressants. In 2007, Nadia Ceccotti moved back to the United States to enroll in a doctoral program in Clinical Psychology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas.
